Children’s Virtual Storytime

A Merry Little Christmas Storytime
Saturday, December 12

Miss Beth will share some of her favorite Christmas stories in this special virtual storytime, available on YouTube. Pick-up a supporting Take & Make craft kit beginning December 12.

Take and Make Gnome
Grades 1-5, Registration required

Register starting December 1 to make your own gnome out of socks! Pickup of Taken & Make kits begins December 17. Look for a how-to video on our YouTube page.

December Scavenger Hunt

Kids can try our latest scavenger hunt looking for wintery items in their neighborhoods. Families who submit pictures to our website by December 31 are entered into a raffle for a prize!

Snowy Singalongs
December 9 and 23 at 10am

Calling all caretakers and little ones, warm up with familiar songs and rhymes to get moving and beat those winter blahs! Available on our YouTube page.

Teen Programming

Monthly Teen Mixer
December 17 from, 4:30-5:30 pm (Zoom)

Coloring Club from Home
January 21-31

We'll provide the coloring pages, you provide the creativity! Coloring packets are available at the adult information desk the third Thursday of each month. Take a packet home to color and post your completed works of art on Facebook or Instagram before the next coloring club for a chance to win a prize!

Cooped Up Crafts
February 16 at 6 pm via Zoom

This month we are paper quilling a heart! Registration is required and begins February 1. Register by calling 414-302-8500 or online at westallislibrary.org/events.. If you register, you may pick up your kit between February 15-23. Those who are registered will be provided with a Zoom meeting link. 

Whole Body Wellness: Breathing 101
February 12 at 9:30 am via Zoom

Identity Theft: Protect and Prevent
February 16th, 2 pm

Identity theft continues to be the fastest growing crime in the United States. The more you learn about it, the less vulnerable you are. The Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will explain the different types of identity theft, how to recognize it and how to prevent it — including information about fraud alerts and security freezes. Receive tips for safeguarding personal information and how to spot the red flags of a scam. With Francesca Johnson, Agency Liaison, Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection. Join us for our first ARTalk! Archivist Heather Sonntag will discuss caring for personal and family photo albums and other image collections.
